The Process
Consultation
At the outset, our design team will engage in an in-depth conversation to uncover the client’s aspirations, lifestyle, and financial considerations, all of which will steer our design direction.
Subsequently, our design professionals will conduct a thorough site evaluation. This entails precise property measurements, scrutiny of soil quality, identification of environmental nuances, and comprehensive documentation via photography. These rigorous procedures guarantee that we acquire the necessary insights to shape a well-informed and thoughtful design.
Design and Budget
As we transition from vision to reality, our design team at Yard Shark collaborates closely, sketching a variety of conceptual ideas to pinpoint the perfect design that aligns seamlessly with the client’s wishes, lifestyle, and budget. Once identified, we'll present a preliminary concept plan alongside a detailed cost estimate for the entire project. With the design layout finalized, we enter the preparation phase for installation. Guided by our designer, clients are encouraged to select hardscape materials, plants sourced from our nursery, and other installation specifics, ensuring each project retains its unique character and charm.
Before installation commences, it's important to note that your project may require city, township, or state approval. Yard Shark is poised to act as your representative throughout this entire process. The plans developed during the design phase will be submitted with all necessary applications. Should representation be needed at any review meetings, we are available to attend on your behalf or alongside you.
Installation
During this phase, the diligent planning transitions into tangible reality. Under the supervision of the project lead and an experienced project manager, our skilled crew executes the landscape installation accurately, efficiently, and in line with the established budget. Throughout the installation process, we remain flexible to accommodate the client's preferences. Minor design adjustments, as well as additions of plant materials or hardscape elements, can be seamlessly integrated upon request. Upon completion of the installation, a comprehensive review ensures that every aspect of the project not only meets but surpasses expectations. We take great pride in offering an industry-leading extended warranty program, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to the long-term health and beauty of our landscapes well beyond the completion of the installation.
